Cookies for Christmas

Christmas was approaching. A dormouse named Sonya Oreshkina was fully preparing for the holiday. She had just finished cleaning and was about to bake her favorite cookies, but it turned out that she didn't have the necessary ingredients in her... pantry. “What if I run to the neighbors?” – thought the little dormouse. – “Maybe they can help?”

In the trunk of the thick tree where Sonya had made her home, there were many other residents: Mrs. Woodpecker with her family, Squirrel, Ferret, Mrs. Mouse, Mother Hedgehog, and Uncle Raccoon. They were all also preparing for the holiday – cleaning, decorating their homes, waiting for guests, and bustling in the kitchen. Everyone was busy, and everyone needed help. Sonya helped each of her neighbors with their tasks, and they, in turn, offered the main character everything she needed for her cookies from the bottom of their hearts. And when Sonya finally baked them, she invited everyone over for tea. At the common table, the neighbors joyfully and amicably welcomed Christmas.
