Articulating sound [S] in a playful way

Before you is a developmental set that will help teach your child to correctly pronounce the sound [S], as well as increase the volume and stability of auditory attention. Inside you will find 14 double-sided cards: on one side there is a picture for the child, and on the other — explanatory information for parents. There is also a card with a character to attract the child's attention.

How to use the set?

Start with the simplest and most accessible exercises from the proposed list.
Gradually increase the number of exercises and achieve the performance of more complex, precise movements.
The exercises should be performed accurately, symmetrically, with maximum amplitude.
Ensure that the movements of the lips and tongue are natural, without tension in the muscles of the neck, nose, and eyebrows.
At the beginning of the session, check the correct position of the lips and tongue in front of a mirror.
Perform the exercises counting (an adult counts aloud), initially up to 3-5, and then increase the duration of the exercise to 10.
Repeat each exercise 3-5 times in a row.
It is best to perform articulation exercises in a well-ventilated room. The body should be in a comfortable position, with the chest expanded. When correcting the performance of the exercise, it may be necessary to touch the child's face and speech organs with your hands, so it is important to wash your hands before performing the exercises.

If the child is experiencing an exacerbation of any somatic diseases or has infections in the oral cavity, it is contraindicated to conduct articulation exercises during this time.
