The Unveiled Isis. Book II. Religion. Volume 2

According to Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, the second book of "The Unveiled Isis" is written for "those whose faith in their respective churches is pure and sincere, as well as for those whose sinless life presents a glorious example of that prophet from Nazareth, through whose mouth the spirit of truth spoke loudly to humanity." The first seven chapters mainly contain quite detailed and original research on early Christianity over the first five centuries, while the eighth chapter describes the history of esoteric movements up to Blavatsky's time. The following three chapters discuss the Vedas and the Bible, the myth of the devil, and the results of comparing Buddhism and Christianity, while the twelfth chapter serves as a general conclusion to both books. In conclusion, Helena Petrovna writes: "Our ardent desire was to show true souls how they can lift the veil and, in the radiance of that Night which has become Day, gaze unblinded upon the UNVEILED TRUTH."
