Before you is a unique Slavic oracle created by the talented artist and sorceress Zhyva Bozhislavna. Each of the 78 rune cards (koshchuny) represents an author's interpretation of the calendar marks and cuts, special symbols of the ancient Slavs. They were used to record the times of ripening and harvesting, the months of the year, and holidays. They were also used for ritual and magical purposes — to learn about the future and seek help from the gods revered in pre-Christian Rus: Makosh, Perun, Veles, and others.
The cards are systematized based on the traditional Tarot. The deck includes 22 koshchuny of the Great Circle and 56 koshchuny of the Small Circle. The Great Circle carries knowledge and wisdom of the sorcerers — priests of the Slavs, while the Small Circle represents the life's and magical experience of ancestors. Thanks to this adaptation, koshchuny can 'speak' to everyone who seeks answers to their questions, advice, or support — regardless of age, nationality, or lifestyle. The deck is also well-suited for spiritual practice, appealing to those who explore the world and their place within it on a sacred, deep level.
