Folding Puzzles. Engaging Paper Puzzles for Children Aged 5–6

Puzzles like tangrams or pentominoes develop spatial thinking.
But if we only have a sheet of paper, can we make a puzzle? Yes!
From a sheet of paper, you can create the "Magic Tablecloth" puzzle and the "Emoji" puzzle — you can even draw them by hand, and they won't be worse for it!
Many puzzles require complicated props. But for this puzzle, you will only need a colored sheet of paper, white on one side and colored on the other! You can come up with simple and complex tasks yourself, and you can sketch them on a grid sheet. This puzzle develops spatial thinking and logic! Many schoolchildren solve tasks faster than adults!
The tabletop game-puzzle built on this principle, "Food Folded," can be purchased in board game stores. There you need to fold not paper, but colored cloth. Additionally, there are several series of the game-puzzle "Quadrigami."
