Helen Beatrix Potter (1866–1943) was an English children's writer and illustrator. In 1902, her "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" was published for the first time. Since then, Beatrix began to regularly publish her new children's books. Beatrix Potter's tales are now translated into many languages and published in numerous editions. This edition includes twenty-three fairy tales about Peter Rabbit and many other characters invented by Potter. The text is translated by Sergey Yuryevich Afonkin.
