Sound: A Deep Experience of Singing, Toning, Music, and Healing Frequencies

Sound resonates deeply in our soul, whether it be a favorite song, the sound of waves, the singing of birds, or the voice of a loved one. In childhood, we learn to mimic sounds, and in old age, beloved music can awaken a fading consciousness. However, sound is not just what we can produce or hear with our ears. Sound is present everywhere, in all living things and even in those things that are not considered alive. Regardless of whether we are able to recognize it or not, myriads of sound waves connect us with the vibrations of plants, animals, and other sentient beings, as we are all part of a vast cosmophysical symphony. This book is the result of 45 years of work by researchers James and Desiree Hurtak. They studied the effects of sound frequencies on plants and water, as well as on the human brain, traced the range of sounds used by singers and musicians around the world, employed experimental sound equipment in the pyramids of Mexico and Egypt to investigate the acoustics of ancient sacred sites, and gathered scientific data and stories from their colleagues about the healing effects of sound. Their goal is not only to highlight the importance of sound and music in our lives but also to help realize that sound healing can be used for both stress reduction and for connecting with the realities of other dimensions.
