The Levenhuk Discovery Micro Terra microscope is visually appealing and easy to use, making it a great choice for a first introduction to microbiology. It is designed for studying transparent samples: thin tissue slices, life in a drop of water, ready-made preparations from kits, and more. With its help, a beginner user can gain an understanding of how optical instruments work and see many beauties of the microcosm.

Optical Capabilities of the Microscope
The magnification of the microscope ranges from 40x to 640x. This is not as much as laboratory models, but it is sufficient to see cells and examine tiny inhabitants of the microcosm. Sharpness is adjusted roughly using focusing knobs located on the body. The monocular attachment has a slight tilt of 45°, making it very convenient to use the microscope for long observations. Objectives with magnifications of 4x, 10x, and 40x are already installed in the turret, as well as a two-position eyepiece in the eyepiece tube. The eyepiece provides two magnifications: 10x and 16x. It is non-removable, eliminating the risk of accidental loss.

Lower Backlight with Adjustable Brightness
Before starting observations, the sample is placed on the stage, where it is secured using metal clips. The backlight is located below, and the intensity of the light beam is adjusted using a diaphragm disk. There is also a sharpness adjustment. The LED operates on batteries, allowing the microscope to be used away from a power outlet. Thanks to this mobility, the device can be taken on any trips, such as out of town.

The Knowledge Book "Invisible World" Included
The book "Invisible World" is an educational manual from which one can learn a lot about the structure of the microcosm and how to observe it better. The text is simple and understandable, with colorful illustrations, but most importantly, the book describes interesting scientific experiments that can be conducted at home independently.

An important feature of the microscope is that you will find a set of Levenhuk Discovery "Flora and Fauna" micro-preparations included, consisting of 24 ready-made samples.
