The Keeper of the Sun

"The Keeper of the Sun" is a story about a girl named Lily, who lives in a strange, dark world where there is neither winter nor summer, neither day nor night, only eternal rain and dull grayness all around. On this rain-soaked earth, nothing has grown for a long time. The girl knows only from her grandfather's stories that there once was a sun in the world. He grows vegetables in a mysterious greenhouse that he does not allow anyone to enter.
But one day, breaking the prohibition and opening the door, the girl finds a path to an amazing world. In this world, dangers lurk for her, but she also finds love, friendship, and joy, and most importantly, hope that spring will eventually come.
In 2018, Norwegian writer Maya Lunde and artist Lisa Aisato decided to create a children's tetralogy about the seasons.
