1787, the adventures of Alma and Joseph continue. The ship «Tender Amelia» finally reaches the New World, as does its impoverished owner and namesake Amelia Bassac. Three young people are now connected by a missing treasure, but Alma has only one goal — to find her younger brother on the continent, even among thousands of slaves.
