Peter Pan and Wendy

Scottish writer James Matthew Barry's (1860–1937) book about a boy who didn't want to grow up was published in 1911, more than a hundred years ago. Today, the fairy tale “ Peter Pan and Wendy ” is recognized as an undisputed masterpiece of world children's literature, and a family library is simply unthinkable without this work, which is constantly republished in many languages, adapted for theatrical productions and film incarnations.
The complete translation of Nina Mikhailovna Demurova presented in our publication is decorated with illustrations by contemporary Slovak artist Peter Uchnar, who was awarded the children's jury prize at the International Biennale of Illustration in Bratislava and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic prize for his work.
