Twelve People - Not a Dozen

Recently, Marianna feels unhappy. She doesn't tell anyone about it, not even her mom, and how can she? Her parents are busy with the baby who is about to be born, they only talk about him. The girl is afraid... of not being the only one in the family, afraid of losing her parents' love forever, and she doesn't dare to confess this - after all, she is already grown up, she is already twelve and a half years old. Her friend Nelly lives a completely different life. She has as many as twelve people in her family! A noisy, joyful home filled with love and care - just what Marianna needs right now to figure out why she feels so sad.
The cheerful, funny, and at times touching story is illustrated by the wonderful artist Irina Gavrilova. Her bright pencil drawings perfectly convey the mischievous atmosphere of a large, whimsical, happy family.
