Primer

A guide for teaching children aged 4–6 the correct reading technique. The primer by E.F. Bortnikova is a well-developed teaching resource that allows for the quickest mastery of reading skills by the child. Its relevance lies in the simultaneous appropriate... use of the traditional approach (dividing words into syllables) and an original method of teaching by highlighting shorter reading units within the syllable, which are easier for the child to read. The color designation of the letters in syllables with red, blue, and green helps the child learn to differentiate sounds (vowels, hard and soft consonants).
All of this contributes to mastering the reading skill literally from the first lessons and to orthographically correct writing in the first grade. The primer is designed for collaborative work between adults and children.
