The seventeenth book of the series «Long Shadows» tells about the new problems in the lives of the ThunderClan cats. In a time of trials, they once again realize that their leader Firestar is ready to sacrifice his life for his friends. At the same time, the ShadowClan tribe falls under the charms of Sol, changing their attitude towards the Warrior Code. Hollyleaf, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather come up with a plan to save their neighbors; however, the harshest trials await them ahead, as Firestar's grandchildren uncover a secret from the past that could destroy many lives.
The eighteenth book «Sunrise» narrates the troubled times experienced by ThunderClan. The mysterious death of one of the warriors has divided the cats, although his secret remains uncovered. Jayfeather is determined to uncover the truth about his past. Lionblaze wants to understand the prophecy of the power of the Three and is ready to do anything for it. For Hollyleaf, however, the burden of the secret proves too heavy; in her anger, she erases from her heart even those she once admired.
