Little Savages

Its author is the well-known and beloved Canadian writer, animal artist, and naturalist Ernest Thompson Seton (1860-1946).
The love for nature manifested in the future writer very early. As a boy, he often went into the woods to study and draw animals. The writer gained fame in the USA and Canada with collections "Wild Animals I Have Known", "The Lives of Animals We Hunt", as well as the eight-volume work "Life of the Wild Animals". He often illustrated his stories and novellas himself.
The books that Ernest Thompson Seton gifted to humanity instilled a genuine love for nature in millions of people - they have been published and republished hundreds of times.
But besides his "naturalistic" books, the writer also left his descendants the adventurous tale "Little Savages". It tells about the adventures of Canadian boys who desperately wanted to imitate the native inhabitants of the forest - the Indians. The boys decide to build a real Indian hut and settle in it. At first, the adults regard the fantasies of the newly minted "savages" with disbelief, but soon they too are filled with the spirit of adventure.
