Spring Tale

The fascinating and touching novel by E. A. Averyanova about the love of Irinka and Lyovka was very popular at the beginning of the twentieth century. The author describes the fate of the heroes in the genre of a family saga. They met when Irinka was seven years old and Lyovka was fourteen. The children's friendship was interrupted: the boy left to study, and the girl and her mother moved to another place. Years have passed, and friends meet in a new capacity. Irinka is no longer a naive, impetuous girl, but a wayward beauty. Lyovka turned from a gentle and caring schoolboy into a spoiled, selfish man. But their touching childhood friendship gradually develops into true love. Many challenges await the lovers; they will have to test their feelings in adulthood, overcome other people's intrigues... But, of course, they will be happy! The reader will have to plunge into a distant, long-gone era and, like a hundred years ago, experience warm and bright feelings together with the heroes of the novel.
