High school students

This book is a unique opportunity to get acquainted first-hand with the life of pre-revolutionary St. Petersburg closed gymnasiums. Its author, N.I. Poznyakov (1859-1910), was himself a graduate of the Larinsky gymnasium in St. Petersburg, and subsequently taught Russian literature for many years. In the motley, riotous community of schoolchildren, life was in full swing. Modern young readers will read with enthusiasm about the school pranks and adventures of their peers who lived more than a hundred years ago, will be able to immerse themselves in the world of old Russia, so far from us, and feel the spirit of a long-gone era.
The book includes two stories - "Comrade" and "Knights".
For middle school age.
