If you cry like a fountain

A whimsical and surprisingly amusing picture book about the many practical uses of tears.
Trying to cheer up a sad worm, the narrator makes the situation worse, causing the worm to cry. Attempting to fix things, the narrator starts to think... about various ways to productively use tears.

For example, if you're feeling sad at lunch, cry until you fill a pot with tears and cook pasta—you don't even need to salt it! Tears serve many different purposes. Without tears, rivers would dry up. Clouds would grow bigger and bigger, and farmers would get angry. Tears help pears grow, and from pears, you can make jam. Jam makes people happy and helps stop tears... at least until it runs out!
