The Tale of the Sail Rock

On the shore of the sea in the vicinity of the town of Divnomorsk there is a rock called Sail (there is a similar rock with the same name in Crimea). The author's grandson, who accompanied her on journeys across... the Caucasus, was used to listening to legends about the places they visited. However, there were no legends or other stories about this rock. Thus, this tale was born…

The author was inspired by the ancient legends of these places about the formidable Neptune, his beautiful daughters, about mermaids, about the Caucasian mountains guarding the coast of the Black Sea.
