The New Adventures of Electronik

The fantastic story by Yevgeny Veltistov "Electronik – the boy from the suitcase" served as the basis for the cult film "The Adventures of Electronik," for which the author himself wrote the screenplay. Despite significant differences from the book, the... plot of the film remains the same: the super-robot Electronik, created by Professor Gromov in the form of a 12-year-old boy, runs away from home and meets his human double – a poor student and prankster Syroyezhkin. Electronik and Syroyezhkin switch places, leading to many amusing and unexpected situations. Meanwhile, bandit-foreigners are hunting for the electronic boy, wanting to use his super abilities for robbing an art gallery. The film featured famous artists, and the songs performed in it to the lyrics of Yuri Entin "Winged Swings," "What Progress Has Come To," "We Are Little Children" became very popular and are still performed today.
