The book includes tales and stories by K. D. Ushinsky – a writer and "teacher of teachers" who had a tremendous impact on the development of pedagogy in Russia.
His famous reading books, "Native Word" and "Children's World," have been reprinted multiple times and remain relevant to this day. The best tales and stories from these books are included in the collection.
