Friends of My Childhood

Georgy Alekseevich Skrebitsky loved to look at books about wild animals since he was young and dreamed of becoming a brave traveler-naturist. At home, he was constantly surrounded by four-legged pets: the dog Jack, the cat Ivanich, the hedgehog Pushok,... the magpie Orphan, and the starling Chir Chirych - they taught the writer to love animals, observe them closely, and study their behavior. As an adult, he decided to share all this with other kids so they could learn how interesting the life of any animal, even the most ordinary ones, can be. Let them try to observe them carefully, love them, and through them, learn to understand and love our fabulously rich native nature.
