How Mishutka Helped the Squirrel and Other Stories

The book of short stories by I. Shestakova "How Mishutka Helped the Squirrel" from the series "My First Reading" is part of the modern program for teaching reading to preschool children. It is designed to consolidate the reading skills of a child who already knows how to read short texts syllable by syllable.

This bright and attractive book, addressed to beginning readers, complies with the FSES for preschool education, is printed on high-quality coated paper in large print, and contains wonderful colored illustrations by well-known Russian artists.

The main feature of the books in the "My First Reading" series is the conditional division of the continuous text into syllables, marked by arcs beneath the words. By tracing the arcs with their finger while reading the words, your child will be able to better understand the meaning of what they read and increase their reading speed.
