A Story with Knots

Lewis Carroll taught mathematics at Oxford's Christ Church college for twenty-seven years, published numerous scientific works under his real name, and his works on mathematical logic were ahead of their time. But his most famous mathematical work turned out to be the collection "A Story with Knots".
Here, Carroll managed to combine his love for mathematics and logic with his signature humor and unique literary style. Each of the ten "knot" stories is based on a mathematical problem that Carroll invites readers to solve together with the characters.
This edition also includes the collection "Various Differences, or Miscellanea Carrolliana".
