The Little One

Julia is very small for her age. A little one. She feels like everything is wrong in her life. And one day she is invited to join a troupe of actors led by a famous director to participate in the... play "The Wizard of Oz." Julia will play one of the Munchkins. She is invited precisely because of her height. Julia never thought of herself as an actress and agrees out of inertia and because of her mother's request.

Rehearsals took almost the entire summer, and by the time of the premiere, she realizes how great she is inside and that this is what matters. As Julia grows closer to the wise Olive, a dwarf actress who also plays a character from the Munchkins, and to her neighbor, the talented Mrs. Chang, Julia's sense of herself as a creator, an actress capable of much, grows. And now she no longer wants to remain in the shadows, and this is wonderful because the director has big plans for Julia!

The story is full of humor and tenderness; it is about discovering something important and vital within ourselves, about those from whom we take an example to change forever.
