Now I already know that what is truly scary is not in school, but in the world of adults, which is inhabited by normal people who once graduated from school.
Middle school is difficult. Scary. Bitter. And lonely. It is hard... not to have the ability to express feelings. It's scary that something is happening inside that neither you nor those around you can understand. Bitter and lonely because you hate the whole world. And it seems that the world reciprocates.
 
The heroes of «The Blue Bird», school-age teenagers, face life's challenges. Each of them has their own difficulties and it seems that the situation is hopeless. Their help comes from Murauti-sensei, a Japanese teacher. Speaking is a torment for him - he stutters, so he tries to talk only about what is important. Listening, being there, and helping in time - that is why he works at the school.
