Meet Ellie - a kind girl with blue eyes and playful braids. Like all children, she is curious and very kind. But she has one feature that sets her apart from other kids - a prosthetic left arm.
Not long ago,... the girl moved to another city with her family. She dreams of making friends, but faces rejection because of her feature, enduring mockery and bullying from local ruffians. She runs away from her adversaries and ends up on a real pirate ship! Here, the girl feels among "her own" and becomes part of the crew, but the pirates turn out to be real bandits.
Thanks to her kindness, bravery, and courage, the girl saves old acquaintances and disarms the bandits, after which she is given a friendly superhero nickname - Ellie Thunder Hand. The pirates are given a chance for redemption, and Ellie gains true friends.
