Forever?

Every child at some point shocks their parents with the question: "Is it true that I will die?"
Sometimes this question arises without any particular reason - simply because the child at a certain moment in development suddenly discovers the finiteness... of life.
This discovery is overwhelming, and to come to terms with it, the child needs comfort.
Sveta Nagayeva and Masha Vyshinskaya offer a beautiful poetic image as consolation: those who leave life become stars, and the light of a star can be seen.
This is a very correct psychological move: children up to a certain age readily agree to accept the fairy-tale version of the cycle of life and death.
