Experiment Set - Secrets of Copper

With the experiment set «Eureka», the child will learn about the amazing properties of substances, conduct two exciting experiments, and amaze friends.
The experiment «Secret Message» demonstrates how to leave a hidden message.
How to do it?

Prepare a pale blue solution: mix... 50 ml of warm water with half a spoon of blue crystals.
Dip a cotton swab in the solution and write a secret message on plain paper.
Once the ink dries, carefully iron the sheet of paper.
Hold the letter over a candle. Follow fire safety precautions and do not burn your message.

Result: the solution will reveal the message when heated and the text will be readable.
The experiment «Colored Flame» will show that fire burns not only with yellow flames.
How to do it?

Make a small cup out of foil and place it on a non-flammable surface.
Pour half a spoon of blue powder into it and moisten it with salicylic acid solution using a pipette.
Ignite the moistened powder by any means you find convenient.

Result: watch closely to see what color the flame turns!
