The book is intended for family reading and is addressed to children of middle and high school age, their parents, as well as to anyone interested in the problem of spiritual and moral development. The content is based on the integration of scientific, cultural, and theological approaches that form a holistic understanding of Orthodoxy. The book contains detailed information about the values and traditions of Orthodoxy and introduces the concepts of Orthodox thought regarding the structure of the world and the history of humanity. The structure of the material presentation satisfies the intellectual and religious needs of the child and develops their emotional and imaginative sphere. Various creative tasks are intended to foster independent judgments regarding cultural and spiritual values.
