The House of Rascals

In the book by one of the most popular children's writers of the early 20th century, Lydia Charskaya, there is a story titled «The House of Rascals» – an engaging tale of a little orphan named Nika, who, after long wanderings, ends up in a boarding school where mischievous children from wealthy families were reformed. Not a day went by in school without pranks and fun, sometimes rather harmful. At first, Nika had a tough time, but with his kindness and responsiveness, the boy managed to win the affection of the students and teachers, and most importantly, finally find his true family!
