How the Grumpy Badger Fell in Love with the New Year
In the Big Forest, there is a fuss! The little animals are getting ready for the New Year: decorating trees, preparing treats and gifts. And only the badger Grinch is not at all happy about the holiday — he doesn't want gifts or fun, he just wants to sleep all winter. But trouble has happened, and only Grinch can help, but will he want to? Will Grinch manage to save the holiday and become everyone's favorite?
Is the New Year Coming Soon?
The bear cub Fluffy was trying to do everything to make the New Year finally come. He helped bake a pie, took a long time to choose a Christmas tree, and pestered his dad with questions. But… something went wrong! The New Year is on the verge of being canceled. Or can it still be saved?
The Snowiest New Year
Soon, soon it will be New Year! But what kind of New Year would it be without snow? «More snow, more snow!» — sang the bear cubs Topsy and Hasty all day long. Oh dear, it seems their wish has come true! This will definitely be the snowiest New Year. How will Father Frost get through with the gifts?
On each page of the book «Happy New Year, Baby! Three Stories» there is a little text to help the baby gradually learn to read, along with many illustrations by the famous Jane Chapman, who has won the hearts and trust of readers since her first book. Her stories capture the hearts of babies and stay with them forever.
