Contrast Book-Folder. Developing Vision from Birth to 6 Months

The contrast book-folder «Developing Vision. Learning First Words» is specially designed for developmental activities with a baby from the first months of life. Large and contrasting illustrations are ideal for developing vision and will later help to study colors and memorize first... words.

Each page features objects and items that surround the infant in their first year of life. The sturdy cardboard pages unfold in an accordion style: wherever your baby is - on a play mat, in their crib, or in a playpen - it will be easy to look at!

The contrast book-folder «Developing Vision. Learning First Words» was developed based on age-related psychological and physiological features of infants and a popular method of vision stimulation:

0–3 months: can distinguish contrast images (for example, like a chessboard). Visual acuity increases.
3–5 months: distinguishes objects by size and starts responding to yellow, red, then green and blue. 
11–12 months: selectivity of environmental parameters appears, and sensitivity to contrasts approaches its final level.

By the end of the first year, children pronounce their first words - at this stage, the book-folder can be used as a basic visual dictionary for the baby.
