The POSCA marker line was created by the Uni Mitsubishi Pencil brand in Tokyo.
Art markers from the Japanese manufacturer Uni Mitsubishi Pencil are designed for various types of visual art, from fine art and street art to children's creativity. The...
range includes markers with 8 thickness types and 5 types of different tip shapes, making their application almost limitless.
The ultra-fine tip POSCA PC-1M has an oval (bullet-shaped) form and creates a line of 0.7 mm. It can be used for drawing, sketching, painting dishes, and other products. It does not contain xylene, has a water base, and is odorless.
The inks of the markers consist of water, pigment, and titanium white, which makes all colors exceptionally opaque on any surfaces; colors can be layered on top of each other. When using markers on paper, the ink does not bleed through to the other side of the sheet. In terms of environmental qualities, titanium inks are safe, the markers do not contain xylene, comply with ISO8124-3 standard, and are safe for children's creativity.
POSCA markers allow working on any surface. For porous bases, such as stone, wood, canvas, some metals, and plastics, markers can be applied without any fixatives, while 100% fixation on extremely smooth surfaces can be achieved using clear varnish. Without the use of fixatives, they can be used as temporary decor.
