Fairy Tales by S. Kovalev

What a delight these Fairy Tales are! Each one is a poem! - wrote A.S. Pushkin. Poem-songs for the Russian language and the Russian soul. The illustrator, Stanislav Kovalev, captured the nuances and intentions of the author on a delicate level. He embodied Pushkin's boundless imagination and creative flair on the pages of each tale. If the music of words is disrupted by an unfamiliar term, there is a dictionary of obsolete words and expressions in the book. The book includes tales about Tsar Saltan, the fish, the dead princess, Balda, the golden cockerel, and an excerpt about the green oak and the learned cat.
