Republic of ShKID

Grigory Belykh and Leonid Panteleev wrote the "Republic of ShKID" in 1927 about themselves. After all, Lenya Panteleev and Yankel are among the first graduates of the Dostoievsky Commune School. Dze, Yaponchik, Kupe ts and many others actually existed. They... had fun, studied, fell in love, and transformed from defective teenagers into decent citizens in the 1920s. In 1966, a film of the same name was made based on the book. It immediately became beloved by viewers and entered the golden fund of Soviet cinema. The story "Republic of ShKID" is included in the list of "100 books" recommended for independent reading by schoolchildren by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
