The Golden Key, or The Adventures of Buratino

The fairy tale "The Golden Key, or The Adventures of Buratino" by the Russian writer A.N. Tolstoy is now presented in the series "School Library". According to the author's original idea, "The Golden Key" was supposed to be a retelling,... an adaptation of the famous Italian book by C. Collodi "The Adventures of Pinocchio". However, during the "retelling", a new country, new characters appeared in the book, resulting in an entirely new fairy tale. It tells the story of the incredible adventures of the wooden boy Buratino and his friends, the puppeteers of the Karabas Barabas theater.
