The American writer Mark Twain (1836-1910) spent his childhood in the small town of Hannibal on the banks of the Mississippi. The impressions he gained there are reflected in the stories about two friends, Tom and Huck.
The book about Huckleberry Finn continues the boys' adventures started in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer".
