This book by V. T. Korzhikov 1931–2007 is a continuation of the stories "The Joyful Sea Voyage of Solnyshkin" and "Solnyshkin Sails to Antarctica". While Solnyshkin and Perchikov, under the command of Moryakov, are navigating the endless expanses of Antarctica on the steamer "Give!", in Okeansk they are forced to entrust the steamer "Svetlyachok" to the unfortunate captain Plavali-Znaem. An ordinary voyage transporting kefir turns into an extraordinary wintering near the island of Kambala.
