Today, Moomintrolls are undoubtedly considered some of the most popular fairy-tale characters of the 20th century. And this is not surprising. Charming in their oddity, resembling plush toys, kind and always ready to help, these creatures have captured the hearts of anyone who dared to get to know them better. The inhabitants of Moominvalley have become so beloved worldwide that books about them have been translated into more than 50 languages, and the number of animated films made has already exceeded ten. A museum and two theme parks have also been opened in their honor.
