My name is Lucy Carlyle and I work at the agency "Lockwood & Co." There are only three of us: me, Anthony (a.k.a. Lockwood), and George. We catch ghosts and save London from them. Actually, it sounds simple, but in... reality, it’s much more complicated. There are countless types of ghosts, and most of them are deadly dangerous, and even our superweapons: rapiers, iron chains, and jars of Greek fire - are not always effective. However, there are no cowards in our agency. This time Lockwood decided to go to an ancient house that has been inhabited by ghosts for centuries and where the famous Screaming Staircase is located. At nightfall, it emits monstrous screams. But there’s a small problem - no one has ever left this mansion alive, and all the previous agents who tried to unravel its mystery have died. Maybe we are just crazy for taking on this case?
