A long time ago, Leonid Vladimirskiy drew Buratino exactly the way we are used to seeing him – a mischievous boy in a striped hat. The artist loved this character so much that he started inventing further adventures for Buratino. He wrote and illustrated an entire book. Now it is before you. Buratino, along with Papa Carlo, Malvina, Pierrot, and Artemon, sets off to a distant island in search of treasure to buy back the puppet theater. Following them are the notorious villains: Karabas Barabas, the fox Alice, and the cat Basilio.
