Scarlet Book: Lal Kitab

This astrology book was written by the famous astrologer Rup Lal in the late 19th century and published by the 'Lahore' publishing house in India before the partition of the country. The text was written in Urdu, as at that... time both Muslims and Hindus could read in this language. Judicial proceedings were conducted in this language and, in fact, it was the main language of Punjab, which before the partition of the country spread from Delhi to the borders with Afghanistan. Pandit Girdhari Lal, a resident of Pheruwala Noormahal in Jalandhar district, published it in 1952, and (almost simultaneously with this edition) 'Lal Kitab' was published by a pandit named Atma Ram from the village of Rahan in Nurpur Tehsil of Kangra district.

This book was popular in northwestern India, Pakistan, Iran, and other countries. But if it weren't for the efforts of the two remarkable astrologers mentioned, it would have been completely forgotten today. Mr. Rup Lal, the author of this work, was not only an excellent astrologer but also a true sage who could lift the veil of uncertainty and glimpse into the future.
