Timur and His Team

The collection presents the story by A. P. Gaidar "Timur and His Team" about pioneers of the pre-war years. The work tells about simple boys and girls who, secretly and selflessly performing good deeds, took care of the elderly and... families of those whose fathers and brothers went to defend the Motherland. The story became incredibly popular among Soviet youth, and its main character – the brave, honest, and fair Timur – became an idol for several generations.
The collection also includes the story "The Fourth Dugout" about three friends – Kolka, Nyurka, and Vaska. Curiosity led the kids to the "village" for artillery exercises.
The works of A. P. Gaidar are included in the school program for extracurricular reading and are aimed at middle school students.
The texts of the works are presented in full, printed on good paper in large font, and contain color illustrations by Z. Yarivna.
This medium-sized edition will be a great addition to a home or school library and won't take up much space in a student's backpack.
