Bearded Tales

No matter what Andrey Usachev writes about, it turns out fun and interesting - it's impossible to put down. This time the author was inspired by... a beard! All children know and love bearded gnomes and good wizards. Often it's... the beard that helps with magic: you make a wish, pull out a hair from the beard, recite an incantation - and the wish immediately comes true. Thus, the bearded writer Andrey Usachev conjured a whole book with pictures.
The book "Bearded Tales" is a witty, fantastic, fairy tale and very funny hymn to the beard. The author invented and rhymed numerous playful stories about the benefits of a beard, which will not only amuse the little reader but also awaken their imagination. After reading this book with a child, one can suggest that they come up with many more tall tales. And draw pictures for them like a real artist. Or compose a hymn to some other object: for example, a favorite toy or good weather outside. By the way, it’s also possible to discuss what a "hymn" and an "ode" are, who they are usually dedicated to, and how serious the hymn created by Andrey Usachev turned out to be. Or one can simply laugh heartily with the little one, as humor is a great therapy and a way to feel that you are on the same wavelength.
The book is richly illustrated with bright and dynamic drawings by Yana Gerasimovich. Her charming bearded characters resemble fairy tale gnomes. Each has its own character and peculiarities of appearance that are interesting to observe. The illustrations are full of movement, and the characters seem to come to life before your eyes.
