Hands off Mississippi

Emma came to spend her summer vacation with her grandmother Dolly. She has a large farm: cats, dogs, parrots, fish, and an old gelding grazes in the meadow. From her friends, Emma learns that Dolly's neighbor, old Clipperbush, has died. When Clipperbush's nephew, nicknamed Alligator, plans to get rid of his uncle's beloved mare Mississippi, Dolly buys her and unexpectedly gifts her to her granddaughter. But Emma rejoices too early: Alligator reappears and tries by all means to get Mississippi back. Emma and Dolly must do everything they can to save the horse!
