Crow Stories

Aleksei Tolstoy wrote short instructive tales especially for children aged three to five: the plots are amusing and simple, the language is lively and clear, and the main characters are familiar animals to the children. The tales teach kindness and generosity, friendship, honesty, resourcefulness, and agility. The illustrations for the book were drawn by Viktoria Kirdiy, and the fairy tales seem to have gained a second wind: in the funny, bright drawings, the educational plots unfold easily and engagingly.
