Byzantine Holidays

The story takes place in Byzantium, or more precisely, in Constantinople. A modern boy named Alyosha goes to Turkey with his parents during the summer holidays. In Istanbul, the former Constantinople, they go on a tour. But it so happens that the family falls behind the group of tourists, getting lost in the narrow and winding alleys of the ancient city. A strange old man of a sinister appearance helps them escape from the city catacombs, but Alyosha must help him with something. Thus, the boy becomes a time traveler, finding himself in the capital of the empire during the reign of Emperor Constantine.
