Little Tragedies

Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799–1837) left us a rich literary legacy. His works are the foundation of the "golden fund" of Russian literature.
The book presents four plays — "The Miserly Knight", "Mozart and Salieri", "The Stone Guest", "Feast During the Plague", or the conditional dramatic cycle "Little Tragedies". Their plots are connected only superficially. Before us unfolds a vivid picture of human passions — greed, envy, treachery, love, jealousy, violence... And the epidemic of Plague — as retribution, as payment for sins.
