The Magic Word. Tales and Stories

Valentina Alexandrovna Oseeva 1902–1969 — a children's writer. She is known to many for her novellas Dinka, Dinka Says Goodbye to Childhood, Vasёk Trubachёv and His Friends. Oseeva also wrote fairy tales and stories, whose main characters were boys and girls. They sometimes make wrong choices, but the author carefully weaves lessons into her fairy tales and stories that help the main characters realize and work through their mistakes and become better. Our book includes well-known works by V. Oseeva: the fairy tales The Kind Housewife, The Magic Needle, Who is the Dumbest of All? and others, as well as the stories The Magic Word, Blue Leaves, The Girl with the Doll, Just an Old Woman, and others.
